The Importance of ATTACKING Things…

OK – so I never thought I’d write an article with that title…

…but this may be one of the most important lessons I’ve ever learned… (so read it carefully)

The story starts back in high school, where I was on the Cross Country track team, and I had a track coach that was a total NUT…

(he was a former college track champion, and he did NOT like to lose)

The races in Cross Country track were about 2.5 miles long, but our coach would somehow pop up five times throughout the race to yell in our ear as we ran by…

(seriously)

He would yell at us at the start of the race, then he would take a shortcut through the woods and yell at us again, then again, then again…

Typically he would yell stuff like “Speed up you pansy” or “I know you can run faster than that now GO”…

But there was one part of the race that was called “Suicide Hill”…

This was an extremely steep hill, and it was by FAR the toughest part of the race to run up that hill…

…And what he said to us right before we reached “Suicide Hill” has always stuck with me.

He would get as close as he could to us without stepping on the running path, and he would scream in our ear at the top of his lungs…

“ATTACK THE HILL”

“ATTACK THE HILL”

“ATTACK THE HILL”

Attacking the hill, means that you give an extra burst of energy when you first start your run up the hill…

This extra burst ends up being a HUGE difference in the amount of time that it takes you to get up the hill.

On the other hand if you don’t “Attack The Hill”, you’ll find yourself stuck, and moving very slow…

And in the end, you may end up using the same amount of energy while it took you TEN TIMES LONGER to get up the hill.

“ATTACKING THE HILL” has stuck with me and has helped me a LOT in my life and business.

Whenever there is a problem, I ATTACK it… when there is something that needs to get done, I ATTACK it.

I’ve found that the most successful people do the same thing, and I encourage you to do the same as well.

Most people put things off and say “I’ll do it later”, and they procrastinate, which makes it take longer and longer for them to get up the hill.

What have you been procrastinating about that you need to get done?

What business idea have you not yet implemented that could change your financial future?

Whatever it is, I encourage you to ATTACK IT.

Like my old track coach used to say…

“Stop being a pansy… just do it… and “ATTACK EVERY HILL” in your life.

Wishing you love, happiness, health, and prosperity…
